Q: Why is your processing time so long?
A: Here at eclectic mushroom there is only 1 person at work creating these pieces. Our processing time is 4 weeks for made to order items to ensure that all products are handled with love & care.
The processing time also makes it so that i can continue to work on designs, make new collections, manage the website, run all social media, do customer service, make the order, and be able to keep a steady work life balance.
Q: How long should I wait for a reply via email?
A: My current response time is 3 days. If you are waiting longer, please email us again or shoot us a dm on Instagram. We may have missed the email
Q: How long do items stay on the website?
A: Starting 6/1/2024 all ears will be listed on our website for no more than 2 weeks then they will be removed. Some ears do get chosen to stay in the site a bit longer but most are removed
Q: What’s a business day?
A: A business day is Monday - Friday but holidays are not part of a business day if they fall on a weekday. EX - If Christmas Eve is on Monday and Christmas is on Tuesday, no order will be processed on those days so you will need to add those additional days to the regular business day time frame.
Q: How far in advance should I place my order before my event?
A: Our current processing time is 4 weeks. To calculate expected arrival time add ship by date + 3-6 day usps ship time. We would suggest 5.5 weeks
Q: When do customs open?
A: 5 spots open on the 1st of each month at 12pm pst.
Q: Is everything made to order?
A: Yes, everything is made to order. We do not have any ready to ship items at the moment.
Ready to ship items will be more frequent in 2025
Q: What clips do you use?
A: We use double grip snap clips on all of our clip on cat ears, round ears & bunny ears. They have a great hold but we always recommend adding extra security to them if doing rigorous headbanging. Our Pom Poms use a large alligator clip.
Q: Can I get a refund?
A: We do not provide refunds; refer to the refund policy for more information
Q: Can you rush my order?
A: We offer a rush order but open slots on the website depending on how many order we have in the queue
Q: Do you have an influencer program:
A: We had a small program for most of 2023 but paused it so we can make it a better and smoother experience for both parties involved
Q: How do i store my ears?
A: We recommends never storing them where they can't be squished as this can warp the fabrics used to make them. We have a storing guide on our ear care page (coming soon)
Q: Do you offer bulk orders?
A: Yes, we offer bulk orders for businesses looking to sell our ears or Pom Poms. Email us for more information
Q: Can you make my ears smaller or bigger?
A: We do not make modifications to ear shape. We have 1 size ear that is perfect for all head size
Q. Why is the color in the photo not exactly like the ones I received?
A: Due to the nature of photos & lighting colors will slightly off. We do not have professional lighting or cameras so this may cause a slight difference in color. We always reccomend contacting us prior to purchasing for clarification.
Q: Why doesnt my order look identical to the photo?
Product photos may not perfectly represent the actual product due to factors like lighting, screen variations, and manufacturing differences, meaning the color, texture, or size of the real product could vary slightly from what is shown in the photo.
